Free and Reduced Lunch Information

Families only need to complete one (1) application for all their children enrolled in Lanier County Schools.  All students will receive an application on the first day of school or when they are enrolled.  However, please only return one application.  The applications will be processed from the central office and you will be notified of your status through a letter sent home with your child.  

Parents are responsible for paying for children’s meals until the application is processed and approved.  Children who qualify for free or reduced lunch automatically qualify for free or reduced breakfast.   

You may apply for free or reduced meals at any time during the school year.  If you are not eligible now, but you have a change in your household income, or an increase in your household size, become unemployed, or get Food Stamps or TANF for your child, call the school nutrition office at 229-482-3958 and your application will be reviewed based on this new information.
